PRIMARY ANTIBODIES

CSBio offers both polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. Polyclonal primary antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on an antigen, which makes them more tolerant of minor changes in the antigen, and recognizes proteins of high homology to the protein immunogen. Monoclonal primary antibody will recognize only one epitope on an antigen, which makes them less likely to cross react with other proteins, and usually shows less background when staining. All primary antibodies are freshly conjugated in a wide range of fluorochromes and labels to be used in a variety of scientific applications.

SECONDARY ANTIBODIES

CSBio offers polyclonal secondary antibodies that are whole IgG molecule specific. These types of secondary antibodies are labeled with various conjugates for all different application types. An important advantage in using a secondary antibody with an unconjugated primary antibody is an amplification of the signal due to the increased amount of labeled molecules that could be bound per target molecule.

ISOTYPE ANTIBODIES

CSBio offers isotype controls that are whole IgG molecule specific. An isotype control is used to confirm that the binding of a primary antibody is specific. CSBio offers monoclonal and polyclonal isotype controls for various applications.

PEPTIDES AND PROTEIN

CSBio offers any peptide or protein that was designed for our monoclonal or polyclonal primary antibodies. Peptides are used for positive and negative controls. They specifically bind the antibody against the antigen they were designed and block off further antibody binding.
